Oh Boy!! The things they notice!

We were watching ice dancing and Adam all of a sudden said "When her skirt goes up I can see her underpants!"

Mommy oops!

I accidentally called Adam Brenna. His response was "Mommy you forgot my name!"

Follow the Rules Mommy

Adam and I were sitting at an upside down rubbermaid (the table) pretending to eat toy food! Mommy picks up a Little People toy and starts playing with it. Adam quickly says "No toys at the table Mommy!"

HER Turn!

We took Brenna to her 4 year checkup yesterday. Adam and I were sitting in the chairs and Brenna was on the examination table when the Dr. came in. Adam immediately looked at the Dr. and pointed to Brenna! The Dr. said I am not going to touch you and we all had a good laugh. How quick he was to throw his sister under the bus!

Ewwww!

We were reading a book tonight and Adam was looking at the tractor tipping page. He then said "This tractor is drooling....ewwww!"

Such a sweet boy!

We were watching Dancing with the Stars last night and both my kids love to dance along with it. They were dancing by themselves and Adam walked over to Brenna and said "Dance with me Nenna." It was so sweet until Brenna walked away from him and kept dancing by herself!

We were laying in his bed last night and Adam said "I don't like baby food." I said "You don't?" His response was "I not your baby anymore Mommy."

A monkey!

We were looking at the kids' scrapbooks and I showed Adam his ultrasound picture. I asked him who was in that picture and he answered very quickly, "A MONKEY!"

My little comedian!

I went to put Adam down for a nap and could smell he needed changed and I said "Come here! Some one is poopy!" He then replied "It me?? Not Nenna (Brenna)? Not Ill (Will)??"

Disciplining Brenna is my job!

Adam and Brenna were laying on the kitchen floor! Brenna kept kicking Adam and he kept telling her to stop. I finally told her she had to stop and said, "1....". Then Adam joined in and said "..2....3...time out Nenna! Go to your room Nenna!!"

Counting and Birthday

I can count to 10 now. It's not clear, but it's definitely counting! I also tell Mommy I am having my birthday at Chuck Chee Cheese and that I want a choo choo train!

Mommy has no idea what she's doing!

I was hanging a clock in Adam's room. I didn't have a hammer handy so I used the back of a screwdriver to put in the nail. Adam looked at me with a confused look and said, "Not hamma, screwdriver!" Mommy needs some lessons in tools I guess!!

He loves his sister!

Last night Brenna brought his pillow to the gate in his doorway and he said "Thank You Nenna!"

A few nights ago the kids were both in bed. I was laying with Adam in his bed and Brenna yelled "Goodnight Adam!" Adam then yelled back "Ni Ni Nenna!" Brenna would then yell back, then Adam, then Brenna, then Adam for a couple of minutes until one finally gave up!

Back Hoe

I don't talk a lot, but I am suprising Mommy everyday! The other day I was reading my truck book and I told her "Baaaa Ho". I love my trucks and am starting to learn their names!

Picking his clothes already

Adam got a new outfit yesterday and had to try it on and wear it for the rest of the day. It has a truck on it so I knew he would love it, but didn't realize how much! This morning he went over to his dirty clothes basket, pulled out the truck shirt and followed me around the house saying "truck on please!" over and over. When I wouldn't help him he asked Brenna!

She wasn't fast enough for him!

We went to an ice cream making program at HyVee ton Friday and the lady was putting berries in everyone's bowls. While she was helping the 2 kids next to us, Adam was standing there screaming "Me!! Mine!!! Me!! Mine!" He wanted those berries!!

Me!!!

We were asking Adam who everyone at the dinner table was. He got Nenna (Brenna), Mama, and Dada. When I pointed at him and said who's that, he responded "Meee!" Silly question Mommy!!

Batman!

Adam now sings the Batman theme very well (for 19 months at least). It goes like this:

"Na Na Na (variable amount of Na's) At Annnnn"

So cute!!

I like suckers too!!

Brenna got a sucker at the bank the other day and had in the car on the way home. Adam saw it and just stared at her with his tongue hanging out.

Adam was in his room reading Brown Bear. I went in to check on him. He looked up at me, scooted over, and patted the floor beside him! It made my heart melt!!

Diego already??

Adam has learned who Diego is already!! He has to find him on his yogurt and when he sees him he says "Dee-Dee" He also said "Dee-Dee" tonight while Brenna was watching Diego! How quickly he learned!!
